Path through woods

Welcome to the Ethical Fitness™ Website

A free archive library of ethical decision making tools and resources

The Ethical Fitness™ website is a collection of resources developed by Dr. Rushworth M. Kidder and his colleagues at the Institute for Global Ethics between 1990 and 2012. It represents over two decades of research, writing, and education that spanned the globe and was at the forefront of demystifying "ethics"—moving it from religious and philosophical affiliation into practical application. While the most recent of these resources were created over ten years ago, they are still highly relevant and useful in today’s society.

With the exception of the revised edition of How Good People Make Tough Choices: Resolving the Dilemmas of Ethical Living (2009) which is still in print and available through Harper Collins, everything on this website is free and available to be downloaded, printed, and shared due to the generous sponsorship of The J.M. Smucker Co. as well as individual donors.
